Made with LOWA Patrol soles, the R-6 GTX Tactical boot truly excels when worn over long distances or over prolonged periods of time. The special tread design provides enhanced grip and improves the wearer's stability. The boot's uppers, on the other hand, are made from full grain leather, a material known for its resilience and durability. Properly taking care of full-grain leather will ensure the boots have a long working life-span and the material's already attractive natural aesthetics will only improve with time and making them ideal for uniform purposes.
To ensure the comfort of the wearer, the properties of the boot's upper and sole are augmented by a GORE-TEX membrane lining. Breathable, waterproof and windproof, GORE-TEX fabric is remarkable in that it allows moisture and heat escape but will not allow water, wind or anything else in. This feature alone is enough to eliminate or at least slow the development of any aches, pain or discomfort, thereby ensuring wearers are able to remain on their feet comfortably throughout the day.
